Menu Calibration / 7.8 - Frequency Limit Based on Outdoor Temperature
This setting is applied for heating and DHW (domestic hot water) heating in PID or FF mode.
The maximum compressor frequency can be limited based on the current outdoor temperature according to the configured parameters. This allows adjustment of the heating power during the startup phase, helping to prevent issues such as outdoor unit heat exchanger frosting, which positively affects the COP.
- this temperature can be adjusted, shifting the point above which the maximum compressor frequency no longer decreases as the temperature rises. - this temperature cannot be adjusted. - defines the frequency at the set temperature. When the outdoor temperature is higher than the set value, the frequency limit no longer decreases. - defines the frequency at 0°C. Above this temperature, the frequency increases, and below it, the frequency decreases. See the graph. The compressor frequency also has an upper (default 85 Hz) and lower (default 30 Hz) frequency limit set in menu 7.5 IDU heat temperature for heating, or in menu 7.7 IDU DHW temperature for DHW heating.
The gray area highlighted in the graph shows the permitted compressor frequency range depending on the outdoor temperature.
