Menu 1.5 - Electric Heating R2

– By default, the electric supplementary heating is turned off and MiniHPC uses only the outdoor air conditioning unit to heat the building.

- If this option is activated, the electric heater will be turned on during defrosting of the outdoor unit. Activation of this option will also be applied for modes HP+EH and HP/EH.

Menu 1.5 - Heat Pump + Electric Heating

– Heat pump together with electric heating.
If this option is selected, the electric supplementary heating will be activated simultaneously with the outdoor air conditioning unit under lower set conditions.

– Setting of the temperature hysteresis for the electric heating.

– The outdoor air temperature at which the electric heating can be activated. At outdoor temperatures above this value, the electric supplementary heating remains inactive.

– The time period during which the outdoor air conditioning unit will attempt to heat according to the selected method in the menu 1.2 Control temperature by. If, after this time period, the set temperature minus the value is not reached, the electric supplementary heating will be activated simultaneously with the outdoor air conditioning unit. The electric heating will turn off once the set temperature is reached, while the outdoor air conditioning unit remains operational.

– Heat pump or electric heating.
If this option is selected, the electric heating will be activated when the outdoor temperature is lower than or equal to the temperature set for . The outdoor air conditioning unit will be turned off, and only the electric heating will be active. The heating will be switched on/off within the range of the set .

Menu 1.5 - Electric Heating Only

– Electric heating only, without a heat pump.
This option is available as a backup in case the outdoor air conditioning unit fails, or for testing purposes without a connected outdoor unit. Activating heating in this mode will not trigger an outdoor unit connection error.
