DHW Menu / 3.6 - Electric Heater mode

In the case of electric supplementary DHW heating, it is possible to choose several switching options.
– The output relay R1 is designated for switching the electric spiral immersed directly in the DHW boiler. – In electric supplementary DHW heating, in addition to relay R1, the circulation pump relay R3 and the 3-way valve for DHW heating R4 are activated. This option is applicable when the electric supplementary heating, installed in the heating circuit, has the capability to switch to increased output or temperature using the output R1. (In this case, relay R1 does not switch the spiral immersed in the DHW boiler.) – Similarly to the previous option, in this case the circulation pump relay R3 and the 3-way valve R4 are activated, but instead of R1, relay R2 is activated. This option is applicable when the electric supplementary DHW heating is shared with electric space heating, as the output relay R2 is designated for switching the electric spiral for space heating.
In the case of the first option
, space heating is not blocked during electric supplementary DHW heating. With the other two options, space heating is inactive during electric supplementary DHW heating, because the 3-way valve R4 is switched to DHW heating.
